Don't panic if you're having trouble logging into Binance -- most situations have solutions. Here are common login problems and how to handle them.
Forgot Password
On the login page, tap "Forgot Password" and reset it by verifying your identity through your registered email or phone number. After resetting, withdrawals are disabled for 24 hours as a security measure.
Can't Receive Verification Code
If you can't receive SMS verification codes, first confirm your phone number is correct and wait a few minutes before requesting a resend. If you still can't receive them, check whether your phone has SMS blocking enabled. For email verification codes, check your spam/junk folder.
Lost Google Authenticator
Losing your phone or switching devices and losing access to Google Authenticator is the most troublesome scenario. If you saved the backup secret key, you can restore it on a new phone. Without a backup, you'll need to contact Binance customer service for manual review, which may require providing ID documents and selfie photos.
Unfamiliar Location Login Alert
When logging in from a new device or new IP address, Binance will require additional security verification. Simply follow the prompts to complete email and phone verification. This is a normal security mechanism -- no need to worry.
Account Locked
Multiple incorrect password attempts will result in a temporary account lockout. Wait 2 hours for automatic unlock -- no additional action needed. If urgent access is needed, contact customer support to expedite the unlock.
Network Issues
If the page won't load or shows network errors, try switching your network environment. Ensure your network connection is stable. You can also try downloading the Binance APP to log in from your phone. If you don't have an account yet, you can register on Binance to create a new one.
