Your Binance account contains multiple wallets, and the Spot wallet is the fund pool used for spot trading. Understanding the relationship between wallets is essential for smooth fund management. First register on Binance to open an account.
Binance's Wallet System
Your Binance account contains several main wallets:
- Funding wallet: Used for deposits, withdrawals, and P2P trading
- Spot wallet: Used for spot market buying and selling
- Futures wallet: Used for futures trading margin
- Earn wallet: Assets held in earn products
- Pool wallet: Assets in liquidity mining
Transferring Between Wallets
Funds in different wallets need to be transferred before they can be used. For example, USDT purchased through P2P goes to your Funding wallet. To use it for spot trading, you first need to transfer the USDT from the Funding wallet to the Spot wallet.
The transfer process is simple: go to "Assets" > "Transfer," select the source and destination wallets, enter the amount, and confirm. Transfers between wallets are instant and completely free.
Spot Wallet Functions
Funds in your Spot wallet can be used to:
- Place buy and sell orders on the spot market
- Use the Convert feature to swap between coins
- Participate in spot trading pair listings
Viewing Asset Distribution
In the Binance APP, tap "Assets" > "Overview" to see how your assets are distributed across different wallets. If a feature says you have insufficient balance, the funds are likely in another wallet -- just transfer them over.
Download the Binance APP to view and manage assets across all your wallets anytime.
